Punk Glow in the Dark Halloween Cupcake

In my local store I found a set of glow in the dark fangs, Dracula style which I bought because I was sure there was a Halloween cupcake to made from them.

I took two cupcakes that had flat tops and that were of similar size. I cut out a wedge from the top cupcake to make a space for the fangs of Dracula.

I used ready made writing icing to make a black line on which to secure the top cupcake.

I put the top cupcake back on to the cake.
I then put the fangs into the wedge shaped gap and did a bit of icing around it.

I gave the Dracula Punk Monster two large eyes and I used the sponge wedge that I had cut out to make a Punk hair style. It was secured with icing and black spikes added. I used writing icing to add detail to the Halloween cupcake. A green jelly bean made a great tongue.

It will now glow in the dark in a black spooky room. Kids can use the fangs after enjoying eating the cake.

I am sure kids would adore making these cakes and they could do all sorts of their own variations .

TESCO in the UK have the fangs for 6 pence a set. I got mine in the petrol station shop.
