Soap Cupcakes

When on holiday in the Lake District I bought this cupcake made from soap. It is going to go along with my cupcakes collection. I wonder how you can make these? I am going to explore and see if there is a recipe for cupcakes from soap. They look so pretty. This one has lilac seeds. They had others with dried flowers on.

soap cupcakes are very easy to make. you can buy glycerin or another oil soap base at many craft stores. you simply then microwave the soap, then when it's hot and melted, you add the color and scent in, plus any additives (like grains, or flower buds), and then pour immediately into a mold. in this case, you would use a cupcake mold. i've done it with silicone cupcake molds, but you can line a cupcake pan with paper liners. then let cool for about an hour. when solid, you can peel the liner off and you have your cupcake soap.

love your website!
