When on holiday in the Lake District I bought this cupcake made from soap. It is going to go along with my cupcakes collection. I wonder how you can make these? I am going to explore and see if there is a recipe for cupcakes from soap. They look so pretty. This one has lilac seeds. They had others with dried flowers on.Labels: Soap Cupcakes

I live in the North of England.I used to teach Art and creative textiles but now I am retired with my husband. I enjoy making all types of food. Making cupcakes and decorating them I find very creative. Cupcakes is my main interest but I also post recipes for Soup, Casseroles, Chutney, Pasta and Salads on the links on the top left. I like to eat healthly and share these recipes. Soon I will start a Healthy eating Diet Blog to combine all my recipes for a Healthy Life style diet including recipes ,nutrition and weight loss. soap cupcakes are very easy to make. you can buy glycerin or another oil soap base at many craft stores. you simply then microwave the soap, then when it's hot and melted, you add the color and scent in, plus any additives (like grains, or flower buds), and then pour immediately into a mold. in this case, you would use a cupcake mold. i've done it with silicone cupcake molds, but you can line a cupcake pan with paper liners. then let cool for about an hour. when solid, you can peel the liner off and you have your cupcake soap.
